Congratulations to Jesse Damery, Hannah Reichert and Shay Talley! Their We Are Meridian essays were selected by the teacher judges as the top 3 essays that defined what it means to be a Meridian Hawk.
The Middle School Summer School program may be required for a student to be promoted to the next grade level. Essentially, if a student fails one (1) core subject or Reading for the entire school year (failure is an overall percentage of 59% or less for the school year), summer school is required for remedial instruction. If a student fails two (2) core subjects or Reading for the entire school year, the decision for Summer School placement is determined by the grade level teachers and building principal. If a student fails three (3) core subjects or Reading for the entire school year, the Summer School program is not an option and the student is retained in their current grade. Please see the attached information on the Summer School brochure for sign up and payment information.
Welcome to the web pages for Meridian Middle School. Our school and district goal is to always improve communication from school to home and with teacher web page content along with SIS, we hope that any information you may need for your student is located online.
Please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or at (217) 764-3367 if you ever have any questions about our school or your student’s performance while at MMS. With our move to the new Macon campus and the implementation of 1:1 for our staff and students, it’s a great time to be a HAWK!
