20 Meridian students grades 6-12 participated in this year's Meridian Golf Clinic. The clinic was held at Moweaqua Golf Course and was a great opportunity for these students to learn some of the basic fundamentals of playing golf. Unfortunately, mother nature took one of our day's away this year, but we ended having two very successful days. Some of these students are, or eventually will play for the Meridian High School Golf Team. I am looking forward to seeing them play in the future.
The High School season begins in early August and ends the first week of October! We have a very experienced and talented team returning and are hopeful for some very positive results this coming season.
I would like to give a big thank you to Brad Burcham and the Moweaqua Golf Course for allowing us to hold the clinic. We are very lucky we have such a wonderful host and supporter of Meridian Golf. I would also like to thank the parents that were able to bring their children to the clinic.
