
Thank you to the MHS FFA for donating pumpkins from their patch to our PreK. Each child was able to paint a pumpkin in class and take one home!






First graders worked together to brush up on their math skills.

Little Hawks had a beautiful evening for a Weenie Roast and hayride at the mound!! Thank you to Noland Farms for always letting us turn around in their drive and surprising the kids with a popsicle!!

This week third graders are reading Pop’s Bridge, a story about the Golden Gate Bridge being built. We have been busy making our own bridges in the STEM lab and in our classrooms using Mystery Science! Way to go engineers!🌉🌁

Bluey came to visit PreK and brought them Bluey fruit snacks to help promote the South Macon Public Library event Saturday (registration required) and more fun library events coming up!! Thanks for stopping by Bluey!!!









It's a home game football Friday! The maintenance team has the field looking great. The Hawks are looking to improve to 2-0 on the season vs. Heyworth!


The new 3D printers in the elementary STEM lab are ready to go! Students will be able to design and print a wide array of objects.

3rd graders have been busy learning about pollination and seed dispersal. We made flowers to pollinate and maple tree seeds to disperse! Thank you to the Macon County Farm Bureau for our pollinator ag mags! 🍃🌸🌱💨







Second graders accepted the pulley challenge! Each team came up with a great pulley design. We are so excited to use the STEM lab this year!

The elementary teachers had a sneak peak of the new elementary STEM lab! They had to design and build a machine with a pulley that would lift an object 12".
