Mrs. Meisenhelter's class presented their Rube Goldberg project at Eisenhower High School. Great job, Class!
Miss. Ward’s second grade class celebrated Dr. Seuss week by reading “Green Eggs and Ham” and doing a green eggs taste test! They then took a poll of who liked them and who didn’t, and graphed the results.
Ms. Bourisaw's 4th Grade was super excited to learn that our poster won 1st Place in the Farm Bureau's "Ag in the Classroom" poster contest! Molly, Ella, and Emersyn did an amazing job researching agricultural facts in Illinois and making such a bright & colorful poster! The 1st Place prize is a field trip for the whole class to the St. Louis Science Center! 🚜. Way to go!
Woo Hoo! The books have arrived and the kids are excited! Don't forget next week is Book Fair week!
2nd graders took advantage of the beautiful weather and took Math class outside!
First Grade Readers read a timeless story that everyone loves, The Very Hungry Caterpillar. They practiced reading this story many days, and they ended the week with writing and illustrating their favorite parts.

We read the book, "Harry's Lovely Spring Day," which tells a story of how one small act can change someone's entire day (or even life!). The Kindergarten-2nd grade students then made a flower for our kindness garden. 3-5th grade students made compliment hearts and were given an act of kindness challenge to complete!
