Secretaries are busy processing registration through TeacherEase. If you have not registered your child yet for the 23-24 school year, please do so this week. In addition, if you have had an address change, please make sure the appropriate documentation has been turned into the office so that information can be verified. If you need help registering, please call the office at 217-764-3367.
The MMS building will be open again this week on Monday - Thursday from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Students are welcome and encouraged to stop by to drop off school supplies, practice locker combinations, and walk through the daily schedule. A paper copy of every child’s schedule is available in the MMS office. In addition, there are tables set up in the 6th grade hallway and 7th/8th grade Commons for students to put supplies that will be collected (Kleenex, copy paper, poster board, etc.).

Girls’ Basketball:
Coach Allen and Coach Herbert will be hosting an open gym for girls interested in playing basketball this year. The open gym will take place in the middle school gym on Tuesday, August 8th from 5-6:30 p.m. Any girls interested in playing for the middle school team are welcome to come. If time permits, current softball players are welcome to stop by after the game to meet the coaches. Questions can be emailed to allenj@meridianhawks.net.
