Upcoming Author Visit with Renee Galvin!
Meridian Elementary School is pleased to announce an upcoming author visit from children's book author, Renee Galvin. Renee will be visiting on October 25th where our students will get to hear from Renee about her book writing and illustrating process. In addition, Renee will be doing a book signing! Book order forms have been sent home with your students, and will need to be returned to school by October 11th. Cash or checks made out to Renee Galvin are accepted. If you have any of her books at home, you are more than welcome to send those to school with your student to have them signed. We are excited for our kids to meet a classmate of Mrs. Major’s who became a real life author! Proof big things can come from small towns!!

Mrs. McGuire had the opportunity to present at a state conference about school safety response plans with colleagues from ROE 39. The team did a great job and Mrs. McGuire represented Meridian well!
ATTENTION: The Regional JH baseball game today in Lovington Arthur, will be played tomorrow (Tuesday) at 4:30. due to the field conditions.
Homecoming Parade will be held on Wed., Oct. 9. The parade will depart at 5:30p from Meridian High School. Staging for the parade begins at 5:00p. If you would like information or would like to submit an entry to the parade, contact Mr. Stielow at stielowp@meridianhawks.net.
