To ensure we are meeting the needs of our students, we've added a drop box in the cafeteria area where students can confidentially let us know that they need to talk. Forms are available for them to quickly fill out and place in the box throughout the school day or during extra-curricular activities. Mrs. Marion and Mrs. Comerford will then work together to schedule a time for one of them to chat with the student. No matter how big or how small, they are here for MMS!
Tomorrow (Tuesday, November 25) is a 1:30 p.m. dismissal to kick off Thanksgiving break. Please make sure any transportation changes have been arranged prior to students coming to school. There is no school Wednesday, November 26 - Friday, November 28.

Midterm reports will be sent home on Tuesday with students receiving below average grades in any core subject. If your child receives a report, please make sure to sign it and return it to the grade-level team teacher.
Students will dismiss at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday for Thanksgiving break. There is no school Wednesday - Friday. We hope everyone has an enjoyable holiday!
There will be a volleyball meeting on Monday during study hall with Coach Kirby. This meeting is for any 6th - 8th grader interested in trying out for MMS volleyball this year.

The 8th grade IESA Regional basketball bracket for our Lady Hawks was posted today. They will play Cerro Gordo on December 2 at 7:00 p.m. Sidell Salt Fork is the host.

Students will write their name on the back of the ticket and turn it into the concession stand for that game. At the end of the semester, each school (MES, MMS, MHS) will draw names for winners. There is an informational meeting about next year's Music Department Trip to Orlando on Tuesday (November 25) at 6:00PM in the Auditorium. Any 8th - 11th grader involved in music or would like to be in Band or Choir next school year is invited to attend. No experience required! Parents/guardians should also attend!
