Autumn A received our Hawk Proud award this week! Autumn was nominated by a teacher for this award because she is such a thoughtful student! She always thinks of her classmates’ feelings and is very considerate for staff too. She is such a great kid!
We had the pleasure of recognizing our current MJHS members and inducting 24 new members during the ceremony this afternoon. Students are selected for MJHS by their teachers based upon their scholarship, citizenship, leadership, and service. They must also have a GPA of at least 3.5 to be eligible for consideration. Congratulations to both current members and new inductees!

We recognized our 8th graders and their parents at tonight's home volleyball game! The 6th & 7th grade teams won in two matches and 8th grade won in three. Our Lady Hawks play again tomorrow night when they host Shelbyville for the final Conference games of the season! The 7th grade game will start at 6:00 p.m. Go Hawks!
The Scholastic Bowl team has their first home meet tonight!
Tonight is Pack the Place night for our Lady Hawks! Make plans to come out and help us cheer on our volleyball teams when they host Nokomis Jr. High. The 6th grade game will begin at 5:00 p.m. and our 8th graders, along with their parents, will be recognized after the 7th grade games. In addition, students going to Washington DC will have walking tacos available for purchase and a 50/50 raffle drawing.
It will be a busy night as we also have home Scholastic Bowl matches. If you are coming for Scholastic Bowl, we ask that you please park and enter through the high school side of the campus.

The 7th grade IESA 3-A Regional Bracket has been posted. Our Lady Hawks (2nd Seed) will play Litchfield on Saturday at 12:15 p.m. in Divernon. Go Hawks!

This week's Hawk Proud award was presented to Maxine P. When Maxine collided with a classmate during an activity in the gym, she quickly stopped to check on her before moving on. Maxine is a caring student who often puts others first which certainly doesn't go unnoticed!
Did you know that tomorrow is National Wear Red day? Students wanting to attend tomorrow's pickleball championship game during study hall can do so by donating $1. It's not too late for your child to participate! Money raised will be donated to the American Heart Association.
In addition, group pictures will be taken in the morning for the yearbook!
