There will be a parent meeting on Monday, July 12 at 5:30 in the middle school cafeteria. Necessary paperwork will be completed at this time. The baseball coaches will be conducting a pre-season camp on July 28th-30th from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the Snitker Baseball Field (Meridian campus). Those interested should sign up at the parent meeting. Try-outs/practice will begin on Monday, August 2. A current physical is required in order to try-out for the team. The 8th grade awards night and recognition will take place on Thursday, May 13 in the Meridian High School gym at 6:30 p.m. The doors will open at 6:00 p.m. Please plan to enter through the MHS entry. Students will sit in the chairs located on the gym floor and guests will sit in the bleachers. All visitors must wear a mask correctly while in the building. We are looking forward to celebrating the academic achievements of the year and recognizing our 8th grade Class of 2021!

The 6th grade ceremony will begin at 6:00 p.m. (doors open at 5:40) and the 7th grade ceremony will begin at 7:15 p.m. (doors open at 6:55). The MMS/MHS Spring Chorus Concert will take place in the auditorium at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 2. Chorus participants should report to Ms. Hagan's room at 12:40 p.m. Due to indoor capacity guidelines, only parents/guardians should plan to attend. Please remember that all guests should wear a mask properly while inside the building.

MMS will be IAR testing each morning on April 13-15 and April 20-21. For each session, students should have charged Chromebooks, wired earbuds or headphones, and a book to read. In addition, cell phones and smart watches will not be allowed in testing locations. They should either be stored in secure locations or kept at home!

The MHS Homecoming parade is scheduled for tonight in Macon. It will leave from the high school at 5:30 p.m. Go Hawks!
Mark your calendars - IAR testing will take place first thing in the morning at MMS on April 13-15 and April 20-21. Students will be done testing by 9:30 a.m. each day. If appointments can be scheduled around these dates/times, it is appreciated!
